*The above content is available with purchase of “GBVS Character Pass 2” or “GBVS Additional Character Set (Seox).”

Seox’s Battle Concept

As the Eternals’ greatest melee fighter, Seox combines fast movement and versatile attacks.

His rushdown attack, Six-Claw Execution, has multiple follow-up attacks that include Archdemon Kick, Wolf’s Howl, Snake Bite, and Shadow Trace. By combining these attacks in close-range combat, foes will have a hard time pinning him down. He also has other rushdown skills such as Empty Hand, an attack from the air, and Gate of Demons, a versatile projectile attack. On top of these and Six-Claw Execution, he has an abundance of options to close the distance.

Seox also has a defensive skill, Thunderflash, that can block foes’ attacks and counter with an attack or movement. This counter skill can be useful in the mid to close-range. His Skybound Art, Six-Ruin’s Enlightenment, produces afterimages of Seox and can put overwhelming pressure on his foes.

Close the gap on foes with Empty Hand or Gate of Demons and initiate Six-Claw Execution to delivery an overwhelming flurry of attacks.

Ver. 2.31 Patch Notes

*Please note: Granblue Fantasy bonuses are only included on the PS4™ version of the DLC.

Anre’s Battle Concept

The founder of the Eternals, Anre is known for his iron defense.

Anre possesses skills that allow him to deftly dance around foes’ attacks while fighting. These include Rakshasa, a long-range attack; Mantra Wheel, a rushdown attack that can close the gap from mid-range; and Spiral Spear, a close-range attack with multiple follow-ups.

On top of that, Anre has two powerful defensive tools: the parrying skill Fleeting Spark and his Unique Action, Arm the Bastion.

Fleeting Spark is a counterattack that allows him to move immediately from a defensive stance to an attack.

While Arm the Bastion has a comparatively slow startup, if he’s able to successfully parry his foe’s attacks, he can immediately move to the next action.

Mastering both of these moves will turn Anre into a force of balanced offense and defense.

Anre’s potent defensive skills form the shield behind which lies the power feared by all as the “menace of the skies.”

DLC New Release

Ver. 2.21 Patch Notes

Yuel has been added as a playable character and additional weapons have been added to RPG Mode. Additionally, updates and bug fixes have been applied to certain modes.

Master points in Ranked Match mode have been reset, and a new rule has been added where any players who lose -10 Master points will be demoted to SSS.

■General

Yuel has been added as a playable character.

*The above content is available with a separate DLC purchase.

*Please note: Granblue Fantasy bonuses are only included on the PS4™ version of the DLC.

Yuel’s Battle Concept

Yuel is a rushdown character who excels in quick close-range combat.

Her skills such as Starlit Sky and Hanaarashi are rushdown attacks that can close the gap foes from mid-range. She also has various tools that work well at close range, such as Foxflame with its quick recovery and Hien:Homuragaeshi with its invincibility properties.

Yuel possesses a good balance of skills specializing in close range, but her key ability is her Unique Action, the Third Dance stance. While in her Third Dance stance, she is unable to block, walk, jump, or use her standard skills. However, she can pressure her foes with a unique set of tools that allow her to perform quick steps and special attacks.

On top of that, any high-hitting attacks will automatically be countered with Eye of the Sparrow, so this can be used against unsuspecting foes. If her foe then adjusts to account for Eye of the Sparrow, Yuel can cancel her Third Dance stance and use her standard attacks again.

Finally, she can transition into the Third Dance stance directly from her skills as well. In this way, she can go from Starlit Sky to Third Dance stance and attack in one smooth motion. Utilizing the timing of Yuel’s Third Dance stance effectively during combat will be the key to victory.

If Sammy & Tommy or Magnificent Tool of Destruction + hit, for the duration of the match the second time that either move hits, the moves’ combo scaling will not be taken into effect.

*The reason the combo scaling does not take effect is not because either skill was used first, but because they are counted separately. There is more damage in the corner, but this is unintentional.

* About Network Colors

Color ratings represent a player’s online skill level and will be applied to all online matches.

In the past, Versus Ranks were the representation of a player’s skill In the past, Versus Ranks were the representation of a player’s skill in Ranked Matches, while ★ marks represented players with similar skill levels in Online Lobbies and Room Matches. To more accurately represent players’ skill levels and facilitate more matches between players of similar levels, the ★mark has been replaced with color ratings.

Players should think of the Versus Rank as skill in Ranked Matches and the color rating as a player’s overall skill level, including Lobby Matches.

*The in-game description of color ratings was unclear and will be adjusted accordingly in a future update.

■Before (Ver 2.01)

Ranked matches will pair players with similar color ratings if possible but winning against a higher-rated player can greatly increase your color rating.

■After

Wins against players with lower colors will have little effect on your color rating, but wins against players with similar or higher color ratings will have a greater effect.

Ranked Match

In Ranked Match, players with Master Versus Ranks will now receive Master Points.

Master Points will increase/decrease with a player’s wins/losses.

In Ranked Match, if a player cannot find an opponent with the same Versus Rank for a certain period of time, they will now be paired with another player of a different Versus Rank.

If the Versus Rank is different, the winner will be compensated with victory stars.

The number of victory stars needed for a promotion has been changed from 1 to 2.

If the Versus Rank is below C5, it is now possible to reset the Versus Rank back to C5.

Select “Ranked Match” > “Reset Versus Rank” to use this feature.

Once a match has been set and confirmed by the player on the Ranked Match Entry screen, the player can cancel the match if the opponent has not confirmed.

Online Lobby

Color Rating-Restricted Lobbies have been added.

Color Rating-Restricted Lobbies can be used to restrict players from entering if they do not meet certain color rating requirements.

*Depend*Depending on circumstances, the variety and number of these restricted lobbies may be adjusted.

*Players who wish to use Color Rating-Restricted Lobbies

In Color Rating-Restricted Lobbies, it will be easier to find opponents of similar skill level, whether for casual matches or serious matches.

These lobbies can be used to continuously play against opponents of similar skill levels or to challenge opponents with a higher skill level.

Lobby avatar colors 1-4 have been adjusted so they are unlocked by default.
